If you’re reading this I’m sure you’ve already dove into the details of tattoos. If you’re looking at zodiac signs then you must of done some research. You know what they are and what they represent. But just maybe you don’t know and are looking into them. I’ll do my best to give you the basics of the design and some background on the zodiac signs. Nothing to in depth or to bore you to death.
There are 12 zodiac signs, and each symbol has its own meaning, specific traits, desires and attitude towards life and people. By looking at the projection of the position of planets, and the Sun and the Moon on the Ecliptic at the moment of birth, astrology can give us a glimpse of a person’s basic characteristics, preferences, flaws and fears. Or so that’s what some believe and try use science to back up their beliefs and claims. Is it true? That’s not up for me to decide. It’s a personal choice and only one that you can make. As for the Capricorn sign itself here are the basics. The date range for this sign is December 22 through January 19. The strength traits for a Capricorn consist of responsible, disciplined, self control and good management. Weaknesses are know-it-all, unforgiving, condescending, and expecting the worst. Capricorns value nothing more than family. They have self control and usually posses great leadership skills.
The symbol of the Capricorn is a goat head. Some people often get an entire goat tattooed on themselves. Just because people get this tattoo doesn’t mean that they are Capricorn’s. They may just like what this sign represents. This tattoo can have very different meanings for different people. It all depends on where you are at in your life or what your reason is for getting it. Goats enjoy climbing and one representation can show that no hurdle is to big for you to climb over. The horns can mean that you have a weapon and can face anything that presents itself to you.
Placements of the sign can vary depending again on the person. If your sign is very important to you and you truly believe in it, the inner wrist would be perfect placement for it. If you’re looking to boast it a sleeve might be more the way to go. Some sort of tribal and goat mixture would be a nice look. Having ink put on your shoulder is a also a classic placement. Getting the Capricorn design done in a tribal pattern give it a modern and unique look. Getting the sign tattooed on as a goat is the more classic approach. Geared more towards females is the floral design. This gives the tattoo a little more delicacy and can be stunning placed wherever on the body. The goat fish tattoo is a more artistic approach towards the zodiac sign. The goat head has the body of a fish and makes it look a little more trendy.
In conclusion it’s best to do some research and see which options are best for you. Which designs you prefer and where you decide to have them placed at. It is a life long commitment but it’s an amazing reminder every time you look at it of how strong you are and what it represents.
